We are committed to sustainability and have developed a comprehensive plan that covers multiple key areas to ensure a positive impact on the environment, society, and the economy. Our Sustainability Plan includes strategies focused on saving energy and water, responsible consumption, infrastructure innovation, and strengthening our team.
Through measures such as installing solar panels, implementing efficient irrigation, reducing waste, and developing new sustainable materials, we aim not only to minimize our environmental impact, but also to foster an inclusive and socially responsible workplace. With initiatives that protect biodiversity and promote the ecological 3Rs—reduce, reuse, and recycle—we reaffirm our commitment to a greener, more sustainable future.

Protection of biodiversity

• Biodiversity protection: maintaining biodiversity areas.

• Development of certified organic production (CAERM) on more than 30 hectares of table grapes.

• In general: limited use of pesticides, and the use of biological control methods such as mass trapping of Ceratitis capitata, or mating-disruption pheromones for grapevine moths.

Recycling

• Recycling of all packaging materials.

• Zero Waste plan.

• We only use PET plastic packaging.

Innovation

• Automating the production process to reduce the physical effort required from staff.

• Development of new products.

• Development of more sustainable new packaging materials.

• Modern infrastructure.

Irrigation

• Use of drip irrigation on all farms.

• Use of soil-moisture monitoring probes to determine exact irrigation needs and prevent water percolation.

• Program to cover irrigation reservoirs to prevent evaporation.

• Modernization of irrigation facilities to prevent water losses.

• Use of deficit irrigation techniques when the variety allows.

Energy

• Promoting efficient energy use.

• Use of solar panels on the warehouse (packing) roof and on the headworks of several of our farms in the Murcia region to take advantage of Murcia’s high sunlight levels.

Human value
