Quality policy

The Management of FINCA AGRICOLA EL MURTAL, S.L., dedicated to the cultivation, handling, packaging, storage, and dispatch of stone fruit—peach, apricot, flat peach, nectarine—and table grapes, sets out the guidelines and general objectives in relation to Quality, Food Safety Culture, Product Safety, and Environmental Management.

To this end, and in accordance with the requirements of the various Quality, Food Safety, and Environmental standards, a policy is established to achieve these goals, based on compliance with:

• Commitment to continuous improvement, and to the efficiency and quality of processes and products, the organization’s environmental performance, and workers’ safety and health conditions, encouraging safe personal habits and behaviors.

• Good hygiene and cleaning practices in production, harvesting, transport, and handling on the farm.

• Incorporating in all processes the necessary measures for occupational risk prevention to ensure safe workplace practices, that all workers understand and have the necessary competence to perform their tasks, that they have the appropriate equipment to work safely, and that in the event of accidents they can be assisted in due time and form.

• Good agricultural practices, properly managing plant material, soil, fertilization, irrigation, integrated pest management, agricultural machinery, and plant protection products.

• Minimizing agriculture’s environmental impact by preventing agricultural pollution and reducing the impact of plant protection products.

• Internal control based on technical advice, analytical control of harvests, and the performance of internal audits on the farm.

• Establishing a Strategic Plan within the company to create and improve, at all levels, a Culture of Quality and Food Safety through the involvement of all staff and continuous improvement of the system.

• Producing safe, legal, authentic, and quality products that meet all legal and commercial requirements, through the involvement of all organization personnel.

• Always meeting customer specifications and requirements.

• Consolidating as a company that respects its employees and their interests, carrying out appropriate ethical practices.

• Producing sustainably, taking care of the social, environmental, and economic pillars.

This document is based on the BRC and IFS standards and will be reviewed by Management whenever there are changes, in order to continuously improve it. In addition, this Policy is communicated to all company employees.
